  • The warmth and fire of the tango they also bring with them in these Spanisch folk-based classical music
  • The trio has grown to even more coherence and gives in-depth, heartfelt performances
  • This CD will attract international attention because of repertoire and performance
After the success of their previous CD, Tango Romances, with many compositions by Astor Piazzolla, the Devich Trio started hunting for material for a worthy successor – no easy task, because their standards are high. It is not their aim to master the complete literature for piano trio. They want to surprise their listeners and be surprised themselves, so they opt for music that has not often been recorded.

Jasper Havelaar: “We want to make the most of our strong points. What are they? I think we all three have a natural feeling for passion. And there is the way we play together; people often remark on that. " Hanna Devich: "The second criterion for the choice of music is that they want to distinguish themselves from other piano trios. They do this not only with their own particular choice of repertoire, but also with their unfettered approach to the score and with their presentation. Hanna: “We like things a bit less stiff, a bit more modern and hip..."  The music by Joaquin Turina (1882-1949), Gaspar Cassadó (1897-1966), Enrique Fernández Arbós (1863-1939) and Enrique Granados y Campia (1867-1916) contained exactly the right ingredients!
