Elgar's famous marches and the renowned and beautiful Serenade. This recording has some of the most well-known pieces by composer Edward Elgar on it, in an interpretation by Sydney Symphony and conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy. A concert full of strenght and very energetic indeed, the musicians made the Elgar Festival of 2008 in Sydney to a great succes!
