A Spanish song recital

Spanish mezzo soprano Silvia Tro Santafé is undoubtedly predestined to become the true successor to the great Teresa Berganza as a superb interpreter of Spanish songs; we are even convinced that this, her first solo CD,will establish her international reputation as such. The famous Tonadillas by Granados form the core of this recital with songs by a great many of the leading Spanish composers of the 20th century. Of equal interest is the inclusion of the rarely heard complete cycle of "Black Songs" by Montsalvatge from which the enchanting Cancion de Cuna is the song that has become world-famous.
