Julia Kleiter and Michael Gees recorded a dramaturgically journey about joy and sadness in life: "Fair world, where are you?" The outstanding musicians concieved a programm based on Alban Berg's "Seven Early Songs" and combined it with romantic and contemporary music by Gustav Mahler, Richard Strauss, Franz Schubert, Hugo Wolf, Arnold Schönberg and Yrjö Kilpinen.

Alban Berg's "Seven Earyl Songs" were the basis of the CD and are used as a leitmotif. The songs are divided up and combined with songs by Gustav Mahler, Richard Strauss, Franz Schubert, Yrjö Kilpinen, Hugo Wolf and Arnold Schönberg. One of a kind is the improvisation of Julia Kleiter and Michael Gees based on Hermann Hesse's "Sternklare Nacht".
