Lonesome Orchestra is a collaboration between Sebastiaan Koolhoven and Ton Snijders, who worked previously together but now developed their collaboration into an equal partnership in the field of both composition and production. 'Ode To A Dream' found its genesis in the accidental discovery of a large collection of glass stereographs over 100 years old. Both the origin and the locations of these images are unknown, the intriguing images of great beauty were the inspiration for this album.

The special packaging contains a 48 page booklet with texts and pictures of the historical stereographs. These stereaographs are also a part of their concerts by projection.
  • Sebastiaan Koolhoven (1959) is a Dutch composer, arranger and producer of vocal, instrumental and electronic music.
  • Sebastiaan has written, arranged and produced extensively for many leading Dutch artists, three of his CD productions were awarded an Edison and several became gold or platinum hits.
  • Musicians and componists Sebastiaan Koolhoven and Ton Snijders worked together on the solo projects of Snijders 'Zwaluw 22' and 'Thuis'. For Lonesome Orchestra this cooperation further developed into an equal partnership in the field of both composition and production.
  • The instrumental music has a strong cinematic character, mainly through the cooperation of The City of Prague Philharmonic.
  • Soloists such as Emmy Verhey, Angelo Verploegen and Hermine Deurloo have made their musical contribution to this album.
