  • An impressive collaboration of two saxophone players: Dutch Edison winning Tineke Postma and USA jazz star Greg Osby.
  • Both alt and soprano saxophone players join forces to create a gem album featuring their own compositions.
  • In Autumn 2013 they successfully powered the recording of this album via crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
  • Osby’s modern energetic, electric and acoustics conceptual music meets the melodic European influences of Tineke.
  • The line-up is spiced with modern jazz and Indian rhythms of the drummer Dan Weiss, improvisation master pianist Matt Mitchell and a young bass virtuoso Linda Oh. Greg was Tineke’s mentor once, now Greg admits they are peers and he has a lot to learn from her. It is a multicultural project uniting the greatest young musicians from the NYC scene, the Netherlands and Australia. Every musician in this group with his/her cultural background will have an equal input. It's a true cultural exchange in knowledge, approaches and concepts
  • The past year, Tineke Postma spend most of her time working in the New York City jazzscene. She recorded for Dianne Reeves' new album, played with legendary drummer Al Foster at the Village Vanguard and Esperanza Spalding at Jack The Johnette's birthday bash in Woodstock (US).
  • Downbeat’s 60th Annual Critics Poll for Rising Stars listed Tineke in the soprano sax and alto sax categories!
  •  This is the first album of Tineke in the last 3 years and for the first time she records as a co-leader
  • The new musical developments of Tineke influenced by her long stays in NYC and performances with great artists of the USA jazz scène are strongly present on this album
  • This CD contains hip, modern, groovy music
This album is promising an absolutely fresh and intriguing music. Osby's modern energetic and acoustic conceptual sounds will meet the melodic European influences of Tineke. A recording with two soprano saxophones has hardly ever been done before; it’s pretty uncommon. The intriguing mix of male and female ingredients from Greg and Tineke will show that times have changed and jazz is not a music style dominated by males anymore. Greg Osby was Tineke’s mentor once, now Greg admits they are peers and he has a lot to learn from her. It is a multicultural project uniting the greatest young musicians from the NYC scene, the Netherlands and Australia.

Besides all, this is the first album of Tineke in the last 3 years and for the first time she has been recording as a co-leader with Greg. This album will show her new musical developments influenced by her long stays in NYC and performances with top artists of the US jazz scene.
