- This is Volume 38 of the Swiss Radio Days Jazz Live Concert Series, featuring the great tenor saxophonist of the post Be-bop area, Dexter Gordon with the Jazz Live Trio plus the Swiss group MAGOG.
- As the rhythm section of MAGOG is identical with the Jazz Live Trio, both of these concerts had been performed once on the same stage and on the same day, but in the Swiss French part of Switzerland. this actual recording though, is from different performances, on different dates.
