- This is Volume 2 of our complete recording or Scriabin's haunting Preludes with the gifted Paul Komen, who received such excellent reviews for Scriabin Preludes Vol. 1 (GLO 5088) as well as for his double-CD with Piano works by Federico Mompou (GLO 6004) from all over the world.

- Together the two Scriabin CDs contain the absolutely complete Preludes by the Russian master and as such they are unique in the current CD catalogue, since there is no other complete recording of these master pieces available.

- On Vol. 1 there are 42 Preludes and the now appearing Vol. 2 offers no less than 48 Preludes. All this makes this issue a very major contribution to the Scriabin discography.

- "Komen is an imaginative interpreter who revels in the evanescent, kaleidoscopic quality of these early Scriabin gems. He is extremely well recorded" (American Record Guide)
