TWOBONES now exists for ten years have become a consolidated trademark in Jazz. The quintet's success and renown is above all based on the reference to what its members still consider the main ingredients of Jazz music: Swingin' approach, strong melodic lines and innovative improvisation. It is however the talents of the individual musicians and the way they channel the energies of their ensemble  work that secure the reach of their targets. For this purpose TWOBONES have slightly changed their personnel in recent years with regard to its rhythm section.
On bass they now have ISLA ECHINGER, one of Switzerland's most profiled musicians, known worldwide not only as a bass player, but also as a trombonist and vibrphonist. Usla, a resident of Hollywood, L.A., Cal., is playing in the U.S. with some of the most famous Jazz musicians, and has regular appearances in Switzerland setting highlights on the European Jazz scene.
No Personnel changes have obviously occured in the trombone section.

Danilo Moccia and PAUL HAAG are still the "corner-stones" of the group (however, this has not been the reason for performing the tune named the same, written by Kai Winding).
TUTILO ODERMATT and ELMAR FREY complete the rhythm section with their energetic and yet very relaxed swing and drive throughout whole CD.
The reason for which this CD has been dedicated to Kai Winding and J.J. Johnson, results from the deep devotion and admiration for these two great musicians of all times, the latter being the arranger of "Bag's groove", and the former, having composed and arranged "Me'n Jangles" and "Cornerstone".
On top, the performances of Paul's composition "Easy on the ear", as well as "Georgia on my mind" and "September Song" provide proof of the versatility and the anthusistiac groove of this band.
