Symphonies Nos. 1 & 2

Here we start the release in North America of one of the most precious musical archives around the world: NHK's. NHK is Japanese Radio Television and its orchestra has hosted all great musicians during the decades of 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.
The first volume in this valuable collection is devoted to Otmar Suitner conducting Gustav Mahler. Otmar Suitner was one of the most relevant conductors in East Germany. Mahler's Symphonies nos.1 and 2 were recorded in 1973 and 1979.
